The Moroccan computer engineer that was jailed for creating a Facebook account in the name of King Mohammed's brother has been freed after a royal pardon.
Fouad Mortada was sentenced to three year of jail and a $1,300 fine for imitating Prince Moulay Rachid without his consent.
Mortada said that he created the account because for fun and because he admires the prince, but he meant him no harm. He had appealed to the prince for clemency before being jailed.
