Apple could offer unlimited iTunes download for free

free

Apple is talking with music companies to offer customers free access to the entire iTunes music library for a premium fee for its iPods and iPhones.

There is a dispute over the price Apple would be willing to pay for access to the label’s libraries, and for a moment the negotiations have come to a halt.

A research showed that consumers would pay a premium fee of $100 for unlimited access to music for the lifetime of a device, or a monthly subscription of $7-$8.
